Alumni judges sought for 4/16/13 UIC Student Research Forum

UIC Student Research Forum
Tuesday, April 16, 2013

Noon-5 p.m.
UIC Forum - 725 W. Roosevelt Road
Chicago, IL

Alumni and members of the business community are invited to serve as judges at the UIC Student Research Forum on April 16, 2013. If you're an alumnus interested in re-connecting with your Alma Mater or a friend of UIC interested in cutting-edge research in hundreds of disciplines, we encourage you not only to attend, but also to serve as a judge at the event. If you've served as a judge before, you already know how rewarding the experience is; if you haven't, join us and find out! Technical expertise is not required.

The Student Research Forum celebrates research in all disciplines from all UIC colleges and programs at one of the finest student-run and campus-supported activities at UIC. Students from all disciplines (art, business, computer science, engineering, humanities, life sciences, mathematics, physical sciences, social sciences and others) present their work via poster displays and engage in dialogue with judges and visitors. The event is one of the few student activities that is academic in nature and includes all students: undergraduate, graduate and professional. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for the business community to observe the impressive research endeavors in which the work force of the future is currently engaged.
