UIC Black Alumni Advisory Council
website
Following the tradition of previous UIC Black Alumni groups, the Black Alumni Advisory Council (BAAC) was launched in 2006 by 30 UIC alumni, faculty, and staff. In December 2007, BAAC became an official affiliate organization of the University of Illinois Alumni Association, the first one on the UIC campus.
Through its activities and events, BAAC aims to promote the mission, goals, and general welfare of the University of Illinois at Chicago with particular focus on the needs and concerns of Black alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
