- Scholarship Drive-
Our first scholarship effort is underway and we need your assistance to make it a success. For only $50 you could win an iPad3 and help a couple of students who are struggling financially. Raffle tickets may be purchased at http://uicbaacipadraffle.eventbrite.com/ Only 50 raffle tickets are being sold so your chances of getting an iPad for only $50 is very good.

-Volunteers Needed -
We're in the process of planning events for the summer and would like some assistance. We need volunteers to sell raffle tickets for our developing scholarship, greet incoming students on August 26th, to help with our scholarship/networking event on September 7th, and a few other upcoming items. If you can assist please email president@uicbaac.org.

New Officers will begin January 2013. Do you have excellent organizational skills, a passion for event planning, an interested in leadership, and/or an interest in helping Black alumni, students, and staff stay connected? Then considered taking on a more active role in BAAC. All post are up for discussion: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure, and Committee Chairs.
